A man accused of robbing $192,800 from an Alabama casino last week had his bond denied on Friday by a federal judge, but had other charges dismissed, according to a report from the Montgomery Advertiser.

Timothy Dean Pettiway and Jory D’Michael Travunn Dumas were arrested Tuesday after they were accused of stealing the money from two machines at the Wind Creek Casino Montgomery. The machines were accessed when a employee left keys atop a kiosk back on August 10th.

United States Magistrate Judge Gray Borden formally dismissed charges against Dumas when security footage from multiple cameras presented by the U.S. Attorney’s Office showed that it was Pettiway, his uncle, who had taken the keys, per the report.

FBI Special Agent Matthew Minshew testified on Friday that a Wind Creek Casino Montgomery employee checked out keys to kiosks 8 and 19, and , after speaking with another employee the woman walked away and left her keys on top of the machine, per court testimony.

Pettiway allegedly took the keys, and took one cash box that contained $100 bills into a restroom, and then repeated the same process with the other kiosk. After reviewing the security tapes, authorities entered the restroom to find empty cash boxes in a handicapped bathroom stall.
